Lucy with Billy and Char

Bill and Char are heroes. They took Lucy when she was sick - with diarrhea. She got very sick right after she had the kitties and she never fully recovered. Feeding the six kitties took too much out of her and by the time the kitties were six weeks old, she was weak and getting sicker by the day. I wanted to get Lucy well before I sent her to them so they wouldn't have to deal with a sick cat, and a vet bill, but Char said to bring her right away.

After an adventurous car ride -- where she got sick from both ends -- Lucy settled right in with them. They have a steady supply of chicken at their house and Lucy LOVES chicken. She hasn't been introduced to their bloodhound Hucklerry yet and that may be a challenge for her. But three days after Lucy went home to Bill and Char's her health has already turned around. She was a good mom which is why she got so exhaused. Now she's done with motherhood for the rest of her life.
