Alex is a senior at the University of Minnesota majoring in Material Science. He is from Wayzata, Minnesota. He hopes to get a job with a large engineering company. Alex is a daredevil who enjoys snowboarding, camping, cliff-jumping and canoeing. He is friends with Ben, Kate, Emily, and Ari. Ben likes cats because he enjoys their company.

The award for patience goes to Andy dog for putting up with a cat that clawed him in the nose multiple times, to kitties that considered him their surrogate mother and tried to nurse on him.
